People in Siberia have always depended on hunt­ing and live­stock. Tuva is the south­ern part of Siberia where people still believe in the nat­ural forces.
Anim­istic sham­an­ism is one of the main reli­gious dir­ec­tions in the Repub­lic of Tuva. Tra­di­tions are very strong in that region. Tuvinian gov­ern­ment is will­ing to develop tour­ism, and it is a good oppor­tun­ity because of the beau­ti­ful nature and nomadic cul­ture. The first rail­road is being built now in the region.
