Dusha, soul, has the same root as the verb to breath: the soul therefore becomes a long breath, a desperate clinging to life in the moments of oppression. Dusha is the title of this endless journey through Russia. it has a gradual process of discovery, the search for atmosphere, suggestions of a disappearing epoch which somehow, quietly but tenaciously, still survives. A photographic journey against tine, before all this disappears.
